Why this matters

Ellis is Dave McDaniel’s son — a bright, funny kid who loves games and time with his siblings. He’s fighting osteosarcoma. Bryce, a friend and former colleague, is running his seventh 100-miler for him — and asking friends and family to stand with St. Jude while he does it.
